As a Science Teacher, you will develop and implement Science classroom instructional plans for students. You will provide subject area instruction (Science) that follow the NYS K-12 Science Curricula and prepare students for exit examinations and statewide assessments. You will report to the Assistant principal and you will work onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement science instructional materials to provide individual and small group instruction to students of various ability levels, and at the high school level develop, teach, and assess laboratory experiences for Earth Science, Living Environment, and/or Environmental Science.
- Develop and implement classroom instructional plans with the Special Education Teachers that integrates the student's IEP goals and objectives, learning styles, and accommodations and modifications that are needed.
- Work with the Special Education Teachers on individual and classroom behavior plans for managing student behavior to maintain discipline in the classroom.
- Use the classroom PBIS universal plan and Tier 2 and 3 strategies for selected students.
- Coordinate the safety and well-being of students through the use of established classroom and schoolwide processes and procedures; supervise classroom staff in implementing these with their work with students throughout the building.
- Follow school and agency procedures and policies for reporting incidents. This includes behavior incident reports (IR) and incidents such as child/sexual abuse, substance abuse, harassment, bullying, and violence.
- Establish relationships with parents and family members to create a partnership around student treatment, student behavior, and academic progress.
- Participate in classroom grade level, and behavior/treatment meetings and professional training and development sessions (e.g. TCI, CPR, emergency procedures and other agency requirements).
- Follow all Agency policies and procedures, along with state and federal regulations pertaining to our school and students.
- Provide leadership to assigned teacher assistants in the various clerical and non-instructional duties for your classroom.
Requirements and Education:
- Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or subject area (Master's Degree preferred), and the ability to work with students who demonstrate serous emotional and behavioral challenges, ages 6-21.
- A degree in science with enrollment in a program that leads to a teaching certification may be considered.

School Based Clinician
The School Based Clinician is responsible for providing clinical services to youth and their families according to program and regulatory guidelines, ensuring that all services are strengths-based, individualized, and comprehensive according to need.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Case Manager, Regional Permanency Resource Center you will provide supportive services and case management services to adoptive, guardianship and kinship families so they are able to make informed decisions with regards to services and supports that best meet their needs. You will report to the Case Manager Supervisor. You will work in a hybrid environment with some travel to client's homes in the community.
Responsibilities:
- Function as a systems navigator to families who have adopted or who have children in guardianship or kinship care through the provision of case management.
- Meet with families in their home to assess needs
- Assess needs, conduct service planning, service plan implementation, service coordination, monitoring and follow-up, reassessment and review with the family via in-home or community monthly visits. Services include but are not limited to information and referral services; referral to legal services; attendance at family court dates; transportation; housing assistance; childcare; basic family needs (vital needs in emergencies and with expenses that are unforeseen); educational advocacy services; and facilitating appointments with social services, medical health providers, and mental health services.
- Respond to the request for in home support referrals for resources and services

Description
As a Peer Support Specialist, you will be a member of the Mobile Team, assisting the clinicians on Mobile visits and providing support and advocacy to individuals in crisis. You will also be a resource to the clinicians and case manager, through sharing their knowledge of common challenges individuals with SPMI endure and sharing knowledge about community resources. You will be an individual (adult) with lived experience with mental illness. You will report to the Clinical Site Supervisor and you will work on-site.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with service providers involved with individuals with SPMI.
- Provide information and peer to peer support to individuals who are served by the program.
- Educate and empower clients and their supports regarding their roles in developing crisis plans and in crisis prevention.
- Educate service providers regarding an individual's role in developing a crisis plan for themselves and in crisis prevention. Ensure that the individual is an integral part of the crisis planning process.
- Inform service providers (including Mobile Crisis and PCFC providers) regarding person- centered and strength-based practices. Maintain and model a focus on strengths.
- Utilize clinicians and clinical supervisor for advocacy for individuals served.
- Ensure that clients are satisfied with the services they are receiving and, if not, help them advocate for what they need.
- Educate individuals and primary caretakers on how to advocate if services are not meeting their needs.
- Be the liaison to other local supports in the community.
- Link individuals to Peer Support Services activities such as support groups, social events, newsletter.

Position Summary

Representative Job Duties | Some of the duties for this position include: Lead regular meetings with individual fundraisers to review prospect data, identify opportunities to advance cultivation, assess performance on overall goals, and progress within individual prospect portfolios. Guide individual fundraisers and development staff by providing recommendations for potential major donors for cultivation and solicitation. Analyze data to help drive prospect discovery and prioritize the top prospective donors for qualification by development staff. Create lists on an ad-hoc basis as requested by prospect development team members or fundraising partner to support fundraising initiatives by incorporating the use of database segmentation analysis, external resources, electronic screenings, and peer-review/focus group results. Job Summary | The Administrative Coordinator reports to the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Education and provides administrative support to the Office of Undergraduate Education (75%) and Office of Institutional Research & Assessment (25%) to coordinate day-to-day administrative activities for these offices. The Coordinator provides support for office related functions such as portfolio wide purchasing, event planning, and support to members of the Office of Undergraduate Education (OUE) portfolio. |

Job Summary | The Sr. Human Resources Specialist for Title IX and Employee Relations will provide consultation, investigation, and resolution of employee relations and Title IX/Sexual Misconduct complaints and will create and maintain appropriate documentation including logs of case activity and provide detailed and summary reports as required. The Sr. Human Resources Specialist will counsel and advise managers and employees on employee relations issues and in sensitive situations and maintain confidentiality of information. |

Job Summary | The School of Architecture at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY seeks a candidate with expertise in Architectural Lighting Design at the Assistant Professor level (on tenure-track) or Associate Professor level (with tenure) who will teach Lighting courses as part of the Graduate Lighting, Bachelor of Architecture, and Master of Architecture degree programs. To be considered as an Associate Professor with tenure, candidates must also possess an established national or international reputation and track record in the area of architectural lighting, and have a portfolio of related design, scholarly research, and/or publications in nationally recognized books, journals, and conferences.
